Wat was dit een heerlijke vakantie! We hebben zo ontzettend genoten van de quality time met z&#8217;n drie\u00ebn en van het mooie weer! Ieder eiland heeft totaal iets anders te bieden. Als je zonder of met wat oudere kinderen gaat, zou ik zeker aanraden om te gaan eiland hoppen. Het liefst ga ik nog eens terug om dit te doen. Wij hebben uiteindelijk voor Sal gekozen omdat dit het makkelijkst was met Fygo. Er gaat een rechtstreekse vlucht die ongeveer 6,5 uur duurt. Dit was voor ons \u00e9\u00e9n van de grootste redenen om voor Kaapverdi\u00eb te kiezen. De gemiddelde temperatuur ligt het gehele jaar door tussen de 24 en de 30 graden. Vooral tussen december en juni is er volop zon en is de kans op regen nihil. Dit maakt deze bestemming vooral geschikt voor een winter &#8211; of voorjaarsvakantie. Doordat er altijd een windje staat is het heel goed uit te houden. Ik kan me niet herinneren dat er een dag is geweest dat we hebben gezweet. Deze wind kan uiteraard wel gevaarlijk zijn doordat je niet snel doorhebt dat\u00a0je aan het verbranden bent. Smeer jezelf en je kinderen dus goed in!<\/p>\n<h3>Santa Maria<\/h3>\n<p>Santa Maria is het meest toeristische dorp van het eiland en rondom dat dorp zijn dan ook veel hotels en resorts te vinden. Santa Maria heeft eigenlijk alles wat je nodig hebt voor (kleine) kinderen. Vooral met kleine kinderen kan dit erg makkelijk zijn omdat je onbeperkt op ieder tijdstip van de dag kunt eten en drinken. Wij zaten op het <a href=\"http:\/\/tortugabeachresort.com\/\">Melia Tortuga Beach Resort<\/a>\u00a0dat beschikt over 8 verschillende bars\/restaurants. Er is dus voor ieder wat wils en het eten wordt daardoor niet eentonig. Wij hebben een appartement op het resort geboekt via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.homeaway.nl\/\">HomeAway<\/a>\u00a0en hebben daarna los de vlucht geboekt. Hierdoor werd de vakantie een stuk goedkoper. Een goed stuk vlees staat vrijwel op elke kaart en ook hebben we sushi en pizza kunnen eten. Soms hebben ze een speciaal kindermenu, maar als dit niet op de kaart staat en er ook niks anders is dat geschikt is voor je kind dan zijn ze bereid om speciaal iets voor je kind(eren) te maken.<\/p>\n<h3>De bevolking<\/h3>\n<p>De mensen op Kaapverdi\u00eb zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en echt dol op kinderen. Het begon al op het vliegveld van Sal. Omdat wij nog geen visum hadden, moesten we die daar nog kopen. Omdat het motto op Kaapverdi\u00eb &#8216;No stress&#8217; is ging alles erg langzaam en stond er een lange rij. De kinderen konden hierdoor allemaal lekker even rondrennen, waar ze wel aan toe waren na zo&#8217;n lange vlucht. Ook van sommige taxichauffeurs of een willekeurige Kaapverdiaan op straat kreeg hij\u00a0aandacht. Fygo vond het allemaal prachtig en daardoor konden wij &#8217;s avonds in een restaurant ook een stuk langer tafelen dan dat we in Nederland zouden doen. Wanneer je kind deelneemt aan het Rijksvaccinatieprogramma heeft hij de inenting tegen DTP als het goed is al gehad.<\/p>\n<p>Als je geen mazelen of een vaccinatie tegen mazelen hebt gehad, wordt een BMR inenting aanbevolen. In het Rijksvaccinatieprogramma krijgen kinderen van 14 maanden deze vaccinatie.<\/p>\n<p>Er komt op de Kaapverdische eilanden wel malaria voor, maar anti-muggenmaatregelen zijn hiervoor voldoende. Het is dus niet nodig om malariatabletten te slikken.<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusie<\/h3>\n<p>Kaapverdi\u00eb (in ieder geval Sal) is ontzettend geschikt om met kinderen naartoe op vakantie te gaan! Wij hebben vreselijk genoten en gaan graag nog eens terug naar \u00e9\u00e9n van de of meerdere andere eilanden. Hieronder nog even wat extra foto&#8217;s om alvast in de stemming te komen als je n\u00fa besluit om ook een vakantie naar Kaapverdi\u00eb te boeken ;).<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style
